01

Learn step by step

The app’s guided plan starts with listening, then a few easy swings, then finding your own pace — no guesswork about where to begin.

Go further with Pro

Four extra programs for golfers who want structured variety. One purchase, yours to keep — no subscription.

  • Fade Practice with gradually fewer audio cues until the rhythm lives in your swing, not in the speaker.
  • Random Test Tempos change without warning, so you learn to find the rhythm instead of memorising one speed.
  • Pressure Variable intervals rehearse staying smooth when it counts — like the last three holes of a good round.
  • Daily 50 A structured 50-cycle block: warm up, fade the cues, test yourself, cool down. One block a day.

Choose a stroke, choose a tempo, press Start. Listen for two or three cycles before you move.

Practical questions

Can I use it for putting?

Yes. Choose Putting and you get an even beat: SET, STROKE, ROLL. Putting timing differs from the full swing — there is no fixed 3-to-1 ratio to chase.

What is included free?

The web metronome is free: three stroke modes, preset tempos and audio-visual cues. The native app adds guided learning, custom tempo, Tap Tempo, saved profiles and practice history — also free. Only the four Pro programs are paid.

Does it measure my swing?

No. Golf Metronome plays timing cues for you to follow; it does not analyse video, detect shots, track the ball or calculate handicaps. History counts practice cycles you played.

Do I need an account?

No. The web tool needs nothing at all, and the app works without sign-in. Settings and history stay on your device.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks Fade, Random Test, Pressure and Daily 50 permanently.

How does the web version differ from the app?

The web tool is a focused practice instrument: presets, cues and a cycle counter. The app adds guided learning, custom tempos, saved profiles, history and the optional Pro programs — plus larger Distance View controls for range sessions.

Choose your tempo. Press Start.

Two minutes with the metronome teaches you more about your rhythm than any article. Then save your setup in the app.
